My first TR award, Jakob Bengel EK2

Hello forum friends

I have been hunting for a cased EK1 as my first TR award but haven't found one to be satisfied with, yet. Today, I went to my first militaria show and saw many nice things that would help lighten my wallet but for now I'll stay where my knowledge has taken me to this point. I found this EK2 with the accompanying items and thought it was a great find. The ring is marked, 44, for Jakob Bengel and so is the packet. The cross has a very nice patina and the ribs are in very high releif as is the date and swas. The tissue paper and an eleven inch (or so) section of unused ribbon came with the award. I believe I bought an authentic TR award in nice condition and am hoping the packet, ribbon, and wrapper are authentic also. The packet is marked for this same maker. My photo area is still "in-the-works" so bear with me on the pic quality. Your comments are welcome, please.

Adrian, I am proud of the set. I had no idea Iron Crosses were this beautiful!! What detail. Stunning! Like Neil Pert in YYZ!

Just got home from work and went to see her. Like a little kid, shameful. lol
