Welcome to the Forum, Avacado! I regret to inform you that your Iron Cross is a reproduction. The pin, hinge, and clasp configuration do not match any known maufacturers of the Iron Cross. May I ask where and when you obtained this cross?

Thank You all for the replies.

I got this at a gun show from a real old guy. No idea where it came from. I paid $35 for it.

I guess I got what I paid for.

It's too bad because a guy offered $250 for it after I emailed him the pictures. Sounds tempting, but I am not going to sell it after what you all just told me.

    hi

you paid a normal price for it. could be worse

seems that the person who offerd you 250$ is a beginner or a guy who thinks that this is an original one field made piece

as there are 1 piece original ek1s out there but they are very hard to find and mutch nicer then the piece you have

dont get me wrong but yours is an pakistan fake made in the 90`s and they get a very big profit out the price people pay for these

    cheers jacob

I think it would look great on a biker jacket. Trouble is that it has a swastika on it. Great way to lose friends fast.

I can not believe that a guy offered to pay $250 for it!!!

It is very has a very rugged feeling and is heavy in the hand.

Owning a real one sounds interesting now. Too bad that other forum charges $20. All I want to do is see some nice pictures and prices.
