    Default Opinion on EK2 please

I have been offered this EK2 and would like your opinions please. The ring is marked '5' Herman Wernstein, but I have not been able to find another example to compare it to. Pics are not wonderful - sorry. The EK1 offered with it is I believe a known Floch fake (and why does it look like it has the remains of a pin as well???).

Can you post a pic of the makers mark Al? There is always some doubt whether this maker produced Eks. I have a marked '5' in my collection that I'll post when I get home later. I can't actually see the cross you've posted in any detail because the pics won't enlarge on my device so hopefully one of the others can help in the meantime.

I think this one are a Floch also, but I need to see the dates in closeup to be sure. Especially the 1813.

I will post when I get home tonight if he sends more pics. With this and a fake screw back I can't wait to see his SS buckle - another one for the rogues gallery me thinks!

    Yes, a Floch fake.
Here is my '5' marked EK2. An original S&L type cross, whether the mark is original or not is open to debate but of all the stamps on all the crosses marked for Wernstein, this is, IMO, the most convincing.......
