Opinion on Iron crosses 2nd class

Article about: I picked up these two crosses the other day. I think the WW1 2nd class looks OK to me (3 piece constructions and it have a magnetic, iron core) but I am not sure about the WW2 2nd class cros

    I picked up these two crosses the other day. I think the WW1 2nd class looks OK to me (3 piece constructions and it have a magnetic, iron core) but I am not sure about the WW2 2nd class cross. It is not of 3 piece construction and the core is not magnetic. Any Opinion?

    Hmm.. I dont like the WW2 EK2 from these pictures.

    Thanks for your in-put. I collect mostly Imperial items. So an WW2 iron cross could still be right even if it is not of 3 piece construction and the core is not magnetic?

    I agree with snni, I thought all iron cross are 3 piece construction. one of my EK2 line on the side was hard to see. only place i could realy see it was next the ring (the top side).
    The core can be non magnetic

    That is not correct.
    There are 1 peice crosses and the core can be non magnetic also.
    But I just don't like to looks of this one.. Maybe it's just the pictures.
    Someone else have an opinion?

    I'm not sure of this WWII EKII either. There is something peculiar about it.
    Maybe it is just very beat up and worn for my liking, but with all the
    available EKII's out there, I would not choose this one.........!

    It a questionable cross from those pics . I would personally leave it
