    Don't know much about these crosses, but it sure looks good Stewy.
    Interesting catch repair, never seen this before.

    It may have been purposefully done by a jeweler as a locking devise. Have seen locking/retaining devises installed on badges before. Examples, Pilots badge and a GAU badge.

    Nice looking cross, and the catch repair is a new one to me too.
    If it went for a song, it was well worth picking up!

    Hi Stewy,
    To be honest, I'm not sure! I paid €180 for my L/13 marked Meybauer with the later pin system. Case was not included. (On reflection, I think I overspent!)
