Adrian, in Volume 1 issue 3 it is asking for help with an up and coming article on LW shooting lanyards with your said photo present. I have up to Volume 2 issue 2 and no article as yet. I will let you know as sonn as I see it

Thanks for looking Nick. Marc Garlasco was looking for pics so I emailed him the one above to use ages ago, I can't remember exactly when, obviously prior to the date on Vol 1 Issues 3 and asked to be told when it appeared in the magazine.

Surely there must be some more photos of the EK2 being worn? Post them if you've got them!

Meanwhile, a few more from me which are in pairs.....

First of all the award for the scruffiest soldiers in the Heer.
Then we have an award ceremony at a field hospital (going by the red cross flag) with random child walking past, followed by the new EK recipients posing proudly and watched by a rapturous audience.
The last pair is of an EK2 awardee posing with his girlfriend or wife and her sister, her sister's other half and bizarrely in the last photo you'll note there has been a change of uniform and the waffenrock has changed hands.....

Nice thread. I have quite a few EKII and other award photos in the collection but have no way of posting them at this time. I also have several of the KvK 2nd, EKIs, GAB, IAB, Army Flak Badge, RKs etc. Ive even a great one showing Romanian Soldiers (wearing Berets) all receiving EKIIs somewhere on the Eastern Front. If I can find a slave who is willing to post them for me? ill make a CD and mail it to them--let me know if anyone is interested? Alsp, please let me know by PM or email as I cant visit this site a lot--just ask Paul ;-))

( is it an actual photo as well ? )

Not the best of shots - it's hard to take a picture
of small photos instead of scanning them.........
