I need just another look at the back picture.

Under the "1813" it seems to be painted over the frame.
Was it painted later to cover the original painting?

PS: about the pictures, there is an "original" package of the EK 2 Maker '25', Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Graveur-Gold-und Silberschemiede-Innungen, although the iron cross is unmarked. As soon i receive the item, i'll send better pictures, including the package.

It appears to have its original eggshell finish. Yes, please show us more pictures/scans when you receive it.

Here is a maker marked, "25", example.

I forgot to post the picture of the background.

Never too late!

The background is the pack that came with the EK2.

There is also a picture of the medals and decorations of my humble collection.

Remember...i started collection just a few months ago!!!

That EK2 was my first purchase!!!!!!
