An original CF Zimmermann. Shame about the de-nazification but it's all part of the history.

Thanks Adrian, as always you are of great help here. I agree, it is a shame about the damage but I am not an expert on EKs and I figured if it was denazified...it must have a good chance at being real. I know it sounds strange but it has often been true in my exp.

I've seen fake which have been de-nazified to give them more chance of being real to the unsuspecting collector. Most think along the same lines - if it's been de-nazified then it must be real!

Are such de-Nazification versions rarer than original examples?
    I collect, therefore I am.

Nothing in science can explain how consciousness arose from matter.

De-nazified fakes rarer than de-nazified originals? Yes.

It's easier to find de-nazified originals than fakes but because some fakes are having this treatment it always pays to look at the whole cross instead of just assuming a de-nazified cross - or any award - is original.
