Default Schinkel EK2 by an unknown maker.

This one arrived this morning, a relatively scarce Schinkel EK2 by an unknown maker. Sometimes called the 'half' or 'intermixed' Schinkel because it looks like an intermediate design, somewhere between a 'proper' Schinkel and a standard EK2.
This was shown to be a misleading term when Imperial EKs with the same frame design were found. Therefore we have an unknown maker who made EKs in 1914-18 and also 1939-45 using the same frame design.

Here are a couple of comparison pics. Fairly self explanatory, the first shows a Deumer Schinkel, the unknown and a regular EK2, in this case a Klein & Quenzer.
The second shows four different types of Schinkel.

Good evening guys, this is my first post on the forum!
I believe Fabrizio was thinking about one of the two schinkel crosses that just got during the last week end.
Didin't had enough time to make decent pictures but i will, at soonest.
Btw the cross is the one on the left with an incredible date design, smallest swasi ever, unusual frame details and very light on hands.
Unfortunately the ring is missing... but not too bad anyway.
    Hope you like it.
    Cheers,
    Stefano

    Hi Stefano,
Welcome to the forum, good to see you here.
Thank you for posting your Schinkel, it seems as soon as I tick another cross off the list, another appears to add to it.......

    Hi Stefano

    A warm welcome

Thats an interesting variant , as you say the size of the swastika is unusual. Great to see!

    Thanks for showing us
