    My opinion is that you should get the seller to put the ribbon from the left hand cross onto the right hand cross as it is original but has the wrong ribbon.

    The left hand cross would benefit from some better photos. I think it is bad but don't want to write it off just yet without looking a little closer. I can't make up my mind if it's an original which has had a very hard life and been cleaned up and painted or if it is just a fake.

    Either way, you do have an original cross and ribbon there, you just need the combination to be swapped.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    For me I don't like the close up of the first one where on the rim I can see casting pores at the convergence of the arms. This is not an area that would be exposed to wear and is not what a die struck rim should exhibit IMO. ( especially compared to the same section on the second - which IS crisp )

    Those can't be anything other than casting bubbles...especially on the core.
