Hi guys,
I would appreciate some input regarding the EKII's and their authenticity. They look good to me, however there are members here with much more experience and knowledge than me.
All information is much appreciated.

For the cross marked '24', check the ring where it meets the medal frame. I believe it should have a stamp on there too.
The cross marked '27' Anton Nachfolger, looks in excellent condition.
They are both very nice examples !

"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
They look both good to me.
I can see parts (I think) of a marking on the ring attached to the frame itself, but this guild mark is very unintelligible due to small damages to the ring itself.

Both good originals..
#24 can be found with different extra marks: WR, Oakleaf, 0, +, (), +0.
I donĀ“t remember if there are more, but maybe someone else will.
#27 are with a Souval core.
Nice crosses!
No problems here, there is a thread about the extra marks on '24' marked crosses here.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
I thank you all for your expertise in the field of EKs.
Snni: Do you know if it was common for Vienna-based makers to use cores from Souval instead of making their own cores?
