Unmarked Eisernes Kreuz Klasse 1.
Morning,
Picked up this EK1 and got a box to go with it last week and wondered if someone might be able to tell me the maker? I've trawled through images for the last 40 minutes and am still none the wiser.
The photos have made the rust look worse than it actually is but I'll have to look and see how to stop it taking over.
On the pin, there is one horizontal mark, it could be a "1" I suppose but the examples I looked at this morning, it didn't look like a Deschler "1".
It's a 3 piece, magnetic core cross and for the price I paid for it (along with an EK2) I'll be happy with my first 1939 EK1.
