i think whats niggling you nick is the swas because its really worn and not the usual all/most black this one is mostly silver so it looks weird
i like it though very nice

Tom,its quite common for the paint to come off particularly on raised parts of the core such as the swas and dates. I quite like crosses with this look.

@Ralph a lovely example. Its certainly is a lovely maker, I have 4 K&Qs now. They are irresistable like W&Ls
