Thanks Nick.
Hmm. I'm still looking for the rest of the 'L' numbered EK2s, the variants I don't yet have and I'm continuing with my quest for a maker marked example of each Imperial EK2..... last count was about 40 with a few doubles.....
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thanks Nick.

Good luck in your quests !
Are you going to post your entire EK collection on this forum some time?
It would be great to see!
I am awaiting a nice mm'd Deschler EK2 and a Schinkel EK2 .I will be then posting my collection of ...wait for it ..16 EKs

Luck is very often a key ingredient in the search! I've been lucky and unlucky in equal measures but can't complain!
Here is a pic of most of my '39 EK2s. There are a few missing, those with packets and those that hadn't arrived when I took the pic.
Look forward to seeing your new arrivals! Those 16 will quickly become 32 and then 64........

The 3 triangular ribbon types second row from bottom are they Austrian?
Yes, these are the Austrian style of mounting on RK width ribbon.
I've also managed to collect some Imperial EKs mounted in this fashion as well as a couple of KVK2s.
*Edit* To clarify, only the bottom three are the Austrian or trifold mounts.
