Question When were ww1 EK2's in medal Bars made?

Assume you have a 1914 EK2 in a ww2 medal bar. Is the EK2 hanging in the bar THE original one the guy was awarded in 1918, or can I assume it was made during 1939-45 when the medal bar was actually worn??

It could be either Bill. It depends what the awardee wanted, could afford etc. Take a look at some on the forum or on dealers sites. Although I think I'm right in saying that on the whole, it is most likely to be an Imperial EK2 in the bar.
