    Hello all,

    Many thanks for those who helped in this board,
    i checked the rings and could find no maker mark.
    I am glad and happy that it is an original.
    Its my first iron cross from ww2 and im happy i got it at £50 if its original.
    also i will check out the topic on photos and for future photos i will go to my window.

    this may sound silly but is there one set factory W&L iron crosses have been made?
    or will i never know due to the maker mark not being on the ring?

    W&L's factory was located at Mittweida in Saxony.
