Not far from where I live.
There is a good After the Battle magazine article about the explosion.
The area of the crater is still fenced off due to potential UXB's.

Right get the kettle on lol... I wouldn't mind taking a look but with so little time on my hands it is going have to wait for a while.. I did hear their was a book out about it.. You know the sort of book paperback by a local.. I also saw that it is still fenced off & I can see that staying that way for our lifetime.. Cheers Terry.
