Pic 1 - (source: Wiki) shows the car in the destroyed state after the attack. The vehicle, the
belonging to a fleet cars which were used by SS-Prag, was later repaired and reused. After the
WWII a mininimum of three vehicles attributed or they have always presented by the czechs
as THE vehicle that was that one which was the target of the two assassins / freedom fighters
    Kubis and Gabcik.

In 2002 again, a vehicle with registration plate SS-3 was on show at the Prague Army Museum
(pic 2 - source: Wiki) ... Unfortunately, I could not see and photograph that Mercedes
convertible at any of my visits at this museum in Prague.

Here are now my pictures of the two houses of Panenské Břežany, the "upper" Castle from which I
incorrectly thought it would have been the place were Reinhard Heydrich and Lina, his wife with their
childrens Klaus (born June 17, 1933, † October 24, 1943, by car accident just in the village), Heider
Heydrich (born December 28, 1934), Silke (born April 9, 1939) and Marte, who was born after her
fathers death on July 23, 1942. The familie lived here from September 27, 1941 on. Before that date
this house was the residence of Karl Hermann Frank ... who follows Heydrich in the role of Deputy
    Reichs Protector.

The 1909 built house was "purchased" (possibly arisiert) from his former owner, the (Jewish) Viennese
    sugar magnate Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer.

pic 1 - a short stop at the entrance to the village of Panenské Břežany
pic 2 and 3 - the first view and according to pictures in the After the Battle, as the right one identified
pic 4 - unfortunately in Czech, the history of the house - can read the names KH Frank and Heydrich
pic 5 - showcase near the entrance to the house

Thank you for your contribution Roland. Both houses are also shown below...

Karl Frank's former house is currently a retirement home. The current state, and future of the former Heydrich family residence has been discussed in another thread that can be found here on the forum.

    Regards,

    Carl

note: The first image shown is the small chapel, located within the grounds of the former Frank residence.

Over all I've shot about 30 pics at this place. That village and and the two houses are shown
in After the Battle No. 24, issued 1979. Who've read that will get a few surprises on location.

Source: wiki ... From 1939 to 1942, the Lower House was the residence of the Reich Protector
of Bohemia and Moravia. Konstantin von Neurath lived there from 1941 to his successor
Reinhard Heydrich with their families. After Heydrich's death his widow Lina with the children lived
in the lower house until 1945. For the management of the estate from July 1942 was provided
by a subcamp the Terezin concentration camp, the 11th to the February 1944 and then was a
subcamp of Flossenbürg with 15 prisonersworked for Frau Heydrich. After April 13, 1945, the
    camp was evacuated.

In After the Battle No. 24 this gate is described as the gateway to Heydrich's villa. Today this is
on the site of a large idustrial company. Well 1979, it was just not as easy to photograph, and
the risk of getting investigated by the police was very possibly ... cause at that time of the
    communists were still on power

Interestingly the air raid siren would come from the WWII originated ... I went in there
cause there were no sign for "restricted area", as to read in the After the Battle magazine.

pic 3 - shows the Chapel of St. Anne, built from 1705 to 1707

The park and the lawn would then certainly have seen some festivities, the higher political
leaders and higher SS personnel. In this little pavilion (Fig. 1 and 2) and the small pool,
possibly sometimes Reinhard Heydrich and family have sitten and laughing ?

The last pic is a look direction Prague, a short, perhaps a last look back at his waving wife ...

Well, I have not entered the inside of the house ... afterwards I'm now really sorry, but how could I explain
what I'm looking for. Pic 1 shows a sketch of the house and the associated smaller buildings

This Chalet is now perhaps an irony of history cause this house, formerly owned by the "butcher of Prague"
is now used as retirement home for Czech pensioners. The Citroen belongs to the municipality Panenské
Břežany and the driver very astonished that I've take a picture of his car ...

Thank you for these photographs. 'Lest we forget.' Has anyone visited Oradour in France?
