This is a Greek memorial to their soldiers. Maybe a Greek member could translate for us.
    It says: Ioannis A. Lazopoulos
    Surgeant from Teme....
    Has fallen fighting heroically
    At the battle of K.....
    On the day of 21.05.1941

    The other plaque says:
Fallen (heroes) during the battle of Kouloukouthianon on the day of 21.05.1941
    List with the names.

Right chaps, tomorrow is my last day, so if we bump into things I will take pics. other than that this thread will have to wait to next year or later this year if we come back, at the end of the day I have come for a holiday and Mrs Evans is not impressed I have been wandering off to take pics of German places lol. If anyone else comes out here and has pictures please add to the thread, I have not scratched the surface of the places and museums out here and that is a fact, so unless I can get more tomorrow I hope you have enjoyed the thread until next year (or later this year)

Ben, I hope you thanked the owner of the Hill 107 Cafe and bingo for letting you share these pictures. They were fantastic.

    Thanks
