Hitler's remark about "If the war is lost, the nation will also perish. ... will have proved to be the weaker one and the future will belong solely to the stronger eastern nation " was quite telling. He could not even bring himself to call them by name.

I think the news story was that the joint intel diaries of the time have only now been released.With many interviews by people who were there and actually witnessed what happened,and many books being written since,the crux of the story isnt new,however i bet the joint intel diaries would still be a great read.

Im guessing that most of the historians and analysts have used this primary document as a source,extracting chunks here and there so it would be great to read it in its entirety.
