    Just spent a fantastic week in Normandy including the Falaise 'corridor of death'.

    Took a few then & now pics too !

    First pic is the church in the town of Falaise
    Second pic is Chambois where the Falaise gap was closed
    Third pic is the Band of Brothers posing for a photo in St Marie du Mont

    They were brilliant

    I'm thinking of booking with them next year for a trip to the Dams/Colditz/Sagan

    Yeah mate they are really good value, I did Arnhem with them in 2014 for the 70th ! We had Paul Reed as our guide, he was really good !

    The Dams/Colditz/Sagan trip sounds interesting, may have a look at that myself !

    nice photos Nick, it always amazes me, when I started going to Normandy in the late 80's right through the 90's no one cared, The corridor of death had a A4 sheet posted on a tree with an arrow pointing in the direction, of course then you could find lots and lots of artifacts, and I spent many hours sifting through the scrapyard in TRUN before it closed

    When Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers became hits, everything changed....... I do not go anymore, as for me, it is too touristy

    The Falaise museum was one of the best around until it went broke and closed

    I know Paul very well, and was with him at the start of his tours when he lived in Coucellette on the Somme
