Thank you for posting this! I can't tell you what looking at then and now photos do for me. They are eerie to look at, especially when there are men positioned in the same stance at the exact spot where these historic events happened long ago.
I have a dozen original photos of crash sites from Flanders 1916-18, I intend to put them on my website next month....You may be my new best friend...
