    Weeze, Rheinland, Germany.

    The first picture was taken by British forces 1945 during the battle for Weeze. The second picture was taken in 2005 during a "War Walk", we are a small group of friends who visit original battlefields wearing original uniforms and equipment.

    What was the reaction of the people that saw you?

    Did the local police said nothing?

    I think in the center of Leipzig is more authentic old houses, they looks like after the war, just a graffity is destroy the look, I was in the Leipzig a couple of times and some buildings is abandoned and destroyed and looks like very authentic, even some houses are not properly repaired after the war...

    They had permission from the police, the documentation took half a year.
