    Hey Adrian,

    but not only pretty vehicles:

    Maquis???

    A nice little Boulangerie

    German standard

    Under new mangement

In the outskirts of Recogne a little earth-bunker

Then we marched down into Cobru, a little village under german conquer

not only with a sign of a Verbandsplatz

also with Luftwaffe-Flak units and their vehicles

and an authentic Lager in the cold Ardennes

    Flakstellung

    In service

    Ohne Mampf keinen Kampf

    Watching the crossings

    A bad guy

    MG-Post towards recogne

    Searching for the hospital

again a little church as Verbandsplatz

    Instruction of the Sanitäters

In front of the german HQ

    New old stock

    The lovely Halbkette

    German Bikers for the Endsieg

    and her trailers

Men, it was so could, only the Gulasch-Kanone was hot

    Volkswagen for the german Wehrmacht-Volk

    A dangerous crossyard

A Luftwaffe dispatch rider in the HQ trying to get instructions for the Flak in the Erdkampf

    Rest will follow

Yes, it was a great time indeed, including the authentic weather with all its difficulties for men and machines:

The barnes were full of german soldiers searching a bit of warmth

    others had to watch outside

and even the modern cars had to run steadily

The artillery-tractors rest in the shell-Bunkers

even the hamburgers were nearly frozen

    The Hospital was filling

and the Posts installed little open fires

Jeep-driving was not a pleasure in those times

But what the hack is that??? The Weihnachtsmann or a christmas-tree

    Very young HitlerJugend in training

while the old Kämpfers eat their vitamines against the cold

nearby on the little roads the relics of the american retreat to Recogne and Foy

Later we went back to Recogne, where an shephard was watching for Germans

and some Posts were watching the fields towards the Germans

Back in Recogne, heavy armor arrived

But in the american sector the same picture

searching for a warm place to rest

I always thought that the Schweiz was neutral, but:

    a schweizer Söldner arrived

or was he just looking because

    of the cooking guys???

    Typical barn in the Ardennes

In the evening a german Spähtrupp arrived in Recogne

    but

had to withdraw because of the strenght

    of the american reserves

    with a Geheim-Waffe

    More Pictures will follow

Yes, but the day wasnot yet finished:

In the late afternoon we marched over Recogne and Foy to the famous wood of Foy

and looked at his foxholes and trenches

but the enemys with a patrol was already there

and we had to retreat into the woods

    to the Memorial of Foy

which was occupied too by american troops

So we had to retreat to Houffalize where our Werkstatt-Kompanie pulled out a damadged Panther
    out of the river

    than and now

    repainted it

and for the night we would have a strong vehicle to conquer Bastogne

so we drove through the night into town, which was hold by strong american forces

    Free french

    and belgian police

after our Panther had a quarrel with this

we gave up and retreated to Cobru for the night.

A long and cold day ended after fierce fighting.
