Maybe a trip to Chicago is in order???
They cut a door in the side to give walk through tours. You can walk right up to it and touch the hull and propellers. They put the sub in a building all it's own and displayed all the atifacts around it. The level you walk in is conning tower high. you see all of the deck and the whole sub. Then go down a ramp to see the rest of it . Really great display.
Maybe you and Ade can come see it sometime.
    just my thoughts,

I would love to see it. (Will be going to Kiel next month to see 995 - hopefully - when Adrian comes to visit me.)

Erhm, I could go with Adrian - not Ade!

My fingers and mind are not connected while typing today.
It would be great to have you come see this display.

    No worries!

I think many members get Ade and Adrian mixed up, I have seen it happen often!

Next time I go to the states I must visit 505, have read alot about her.
