Here we have the large air raid bunker to be found at Anhalter. Note the bomb damage! The remains of the railway station, scene of heavy fighting, is now being preserved.
The bunker is open for tours but is also a horror museum.

Hi Ewan, it is making me want to go back!
Now we move along to SA HQ, Gestapo HQ, the Berlin Wall and the former Air Ministry buildings. The latter you will recognise from the recent film "Valkerie".
DDR era mural addition to the AM building
Chinese takeaway which now stands on the site of the Reich Chancellry.
Bomb damaged buliding just down the street from the bunker.
Us at the site of the Fuhrerbunker.
The then new and unopened Holocaust memorial plus the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. DDR era tower too.
Note the massive queue to get into the Reichstag. We gave up this day and went back later. Either get there early or go late in the day.
Signs on the U Bahn. The names resound with history...
Wannsee: scene of the infamous conference which sealed the fate of European Jewry.
Lichterfelde: home of the "LSSAH"
Some more to come tonight
