Hi Ade , these are super photos , it is a great city to visit ! Seeing your snaps of the Brandenburg Gates reminded me of when i was working in East Germany in the early nineties up on the Baltic in Rostock and Warnemunde and if you think it gets cold in the winter over here you want to try it there in february We used to fly into Tegel airport , get a cab through to the east side , and get a train up to the coast . In those day`s you could still drive through the Brandenburg Gates but i believe it been padestrianized now ,

    cheers Al

Great thread Ade, i liked Berlin.
I believe the owner of bunkermuseum you showed earlier lost his license and had to close in 2008.
    Cheers.

Hi Guys, interesting to see this old thread again: thanks for the comments.

The museum in post 46 has also now closed as the buildings new owners pulled the plug on it.

    Cheers, Ade.
