    Wars are nasty.
I have been told that Angola is a real $hithole.
War is a hard dirty business. You always remember those that came home in a box.
    God rest their souls.

I have been told that Angola is a real $hithole.

It was, it is and will always be.

My parents toke me there when i was 17 years old.
They wanted me to see the remains of former colonie of "Lobito", and believe me i was socked.
There are no tarmac roads, the houses are semi habitable, bullet holes on every wall, door and window, prostitution everywhere, mosquitoes, malaria, some times you could see a dead body inside a trash can. There are no rules. Even the "police" is corrupt.
Imagine a white young boy running like hell thru the street, to get away from a gang that wanted to steal he`s sony discman.
That was me, the day i exited the hotel alone to take some photos.
However my father works in luanda, angola and he likes it.
