These are great! The T34/76 is very rare beast in the West.

The half track is not an original Sdkfz 251 though, but is a Czech OT810.

    Cheers, Ade.

OH NO! Not only am I buying fake German stuff, now I'm taking pictures of it!

Just kidding! I wondered if that was real. I'm no expert on telling them apart but to someone who knows, I've heard the differences are obvious.

And I do like T34/76's! Classic shape and much less common than the T34/85.

    Best Regards,
    Mike

Not many of the T34/76 survived the Russian Battlefields to head to the west !!

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Here are some photos of the diorama/paintings I talked about in the first post. It was hard to get good pictures of them because of their size. The curved painting are about 12-15 feet high and 40-50 feet long with the diorama in front of them.

    Best Regards,
    Mike

Is this museum still open? or was it just temporary for the 50th aniversary? it looks brilliant!

Its still open and I've heard they have added alot more to it since I was there in 2001. It is now the center of the May 9 Victory Day celebrations in Moscow.

    Mike

That's how I got over there. My employer sent me on a 3 month assignment to Moscow. I figured it might be my only chance to see that part of the world, especially on somebody else's nickle!

    Best Regards,
    Mike
