The concentration camp prisoner uniform with a purple Winkel (cloth insignia / triangle), is rather unusual as it would have been worn by either a member of the clergy or a Bibelforscher (Bible student, the term used for Jehovah's Witness).

I believe that I once read that Himmler specifically selected Jehovah's Witness prisoners to work on the construction of Wewelsburg Castle because they were Aryan according to Nazi racial thinking. I also understand that they were imprisoned because they would not take the oath of loyalty to Hitler, because JW's will not for religious reasons swear any oath. Today they are not required to swear on the Bible in court.
