Picked this up today a shame its 1950s but still nice in its own way

A surprise its not been split as the peggies and wings are the same as WWII and probably fetch more on their own than you paid for the BD, though perhaps you paid a lot for the set.

Very nice set and I agree 50's kit is under appreciated there was a lot going on around the globe in the early years after the war the Suez Crisis comes immediately to my mind .

I notice this set is know on ebay. I had another look and the pegasus patches are not the same as wartime, either a post war version or iffy copies? Maybe Ade will comment.

I asked around and a post war version of the peggies, not the wartime made type, still nice. Did it sell on ebay? I did not watch it and can't find it know.
