Airborne Curved Title

Article about: Gidday all Would this be a WWII era curved title and also , whether yay or nay, what is its history being worn. Much appreciated in advance. Phill

    Phil,

    UK titles are big compared to US examples but is is fairly standard for UK versions.

    Hi Jerry

    Here is a comparison of US scrolls and Airborne "Tab".

    Note Special Recon and Ranger scrolls are US made and issued ,however you will also encounter more theatre made scrolls in the various countries the individuals served in for the different Ranger battalions and spec recon teams.

    The airborne tab is one of very few that was official , all scrolls with titles that you see are unauthorized and theatre made.

    To wear the airborne tab you had to do 5 jumps and assigned to one of the 5 US Airborne Divisions.

    There are other tabs and scrolls that were official like the AAF scrolls etc..
