In 16 june 1944 78th british infantry division liberated Montegabbione.
In the 5º bt The Northamptonshire Regiment war diary is possible raed that "American fighter bombers attack FAIOLO - 16 june 1944".

I search information but I son't find nothing. I ask to amministrator of 57thbombwing.com but He don't find nothing about the 16 june bombing.
