Glad I bought this group now !!! my hunch was right ....its a wartime silk scarf constructed from his original wartime parachute silk...(probably souverner from his action at Arnhem ) this is hand embroidered with Parachute Regt wings and ARNHEM !! together with his first pattern cap badge and silver sweetheart wings ...sadly no name ...

Sadly it was on ebay , just described as military scarf ..badges were at side , I remember seeing warime parachute silk and thought this was same ...so took a gamble ...sadly no name !! as he got it out of a clearance !! ;-)
