I suppose it depends on whether you like things in mint condition or not! Is that a crude attempt at deactivating it or other damage? Apparently 1 million were made, however, they don’t come on the market very often (at least not in the UK). I’d have it for my collection if the price was right.

These are extremely rare, many of these were destroyed. My father had the chance to buy one in the 90s for $500 that could fire, he still kicks himself for not buying it. Given the damage I'm not sure how much that affects the value.

Originals are ultra rare. I've only ever seen one. RIA had one on auction in 2017 with an estimate price of $1.8 to $2.75k.....not sure the final hammer price.
