    Hey guys,

So I just bought one of these and just had a quick question about them. Mine has imprints from someone writing on it in the upper left of the document. I can't make them out. That's why I'm asking this question

When you hold the letter up to the light is the paper almost transparent? You can see all the threads and stands of fiber in mine.

Hope you guys can help me out,
    Josh

I would imagine the paper would have been thin - it was a rallying call for the troops and if kept would have needed to take up little room even folded quite small in an overstuffed battledress!
