Default Kodiak Jump-boots ? With Photos

Just a quick question , did Kodiak (Canada) make US Jump-boots ? I have a chance of getting a pair of 12 hole red/brown boots that look like jump-boots to me , they are pretty dried out , they have a faint Kodiak stamp on the top of the upper . Also some very faint numbers on the back of the sole by the heel , size 12 is all I can really make out . If they stand a chance I'll get some photos . Thanks
    Cheers Chris

They sure look like US jump boots. Can't say that I have heard of that maker though.
Pictures of the complete sole and heels would help some.

I couldn't find much on the net either . And I thought Canadian Para wore a British style jump boot . Anyone ever hear of imported Canadian boots used by the US ? I know we exported to the British , uniforms etc . It's looks exactly like the US jump boot ,which is strange . Thanks for the help !

"In 1959, Greb purchased the Canada West Shoe Manufacturing Company of Winnipeg, including its popular Kodiak brand boots."
So it looks like the boots would have been made after 1959!...
