Can the experts here have a look at the following link on Ebay and give an opinion. I have difficulty in believing this is a genuine WW2 version of an Airborne trailer.

Lightweight trailer, possibly Airborne Para trailer/ linesman. Army,Military.WW2 | eBay

Looking forward to hearing what you think.

Not sure if this is any help but in the early 70's I started as an overhead linesman and we used trailers similar to these towed by land rovers. At that time we had a lot of ex-military vehicles including Austin K9's that still had sand in them from Egypt. The only thing I will say is if my memory is correct they were a little better constructed than the one shown.

    Regards, Mark.
