    Default need help,US D-day bag for M1 A1?

I got this from a death collector. While cleaning out his mess some great items were found like a STGW44 maintenance bag + mini manual. A German STEN mag by Haenl, a webbing with 3 50rd stenmags+loadertool and so on

    But that's an other story.

I went for this bag. It looks like a M1 A1 will fit in it.
Any refences? price tag (no not for sale but insurance will ask it). All the buttons are oxidated but function.

    Thanks !

Looks more like Korean war possibly for the M-1 Carbine, I believe that carrying cases for the M-1 Garand where made out of leather during ww2
