    Hello again!

In every book... and on the net, there sayīs that there should be Jerrycan holders on floor behind the seats!?
But on my Jeep i do see that was not the true... Iīm happy that i didnīt buy 2 extra Jerry can holders...
I have found some metal"wire" in the same size as the floor Footmanloops for making the footmanloops for the seats!
I have seen diffrent placing of it!? On top of the tube on seat and lower on the seat?
I will not put on a new step on the left side... did buy a new "GPW"one for it from USA... but will not put it on!
On the 26th may there are a Jeep meeting at my place and iīm going to put all Airborneparts on the Jeep for display...
After that date i will start again to make the panels for the side and floor and put it on...
    Best regards

    Hi there,

I have just started an Airborne Jeep project and would appreciate any PDF files on British Airborne Jeeps, if anyone can email them.

My e-mail is coppermccue@yahoo.ca, i am in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I have a 1943 Ford GPW that will be undergoing a frame up restoration in the coming year. Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hello!
Sorry Rob! Donīt have any PDF files... You have to buy the book: British Airborne Jeeps 1942-1945 by Rob Van Meel.
Do someone have pictures of battery boxes?
I have got a set (4) Repro battery boxes from UK!
But i have to drill for the hole to the battery conector... Some picture would be great!

    Thanks for the reply Emil,

And great work on your Airborne Jeep.

I have not been able to source a copy of Rob Van Meel's British Airborne Jeeps 1942-1945. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this book?

It seems to have been out of print for some time.

    Cheers,

    Rob

great looking Jeep. I had a 1945 MB and sold it. Wish I had it back. Now all I have is a 1969 M151. Full military.
Great project!!!. Well worth the Restoration. And to find one in great shape is unreal these days.
