    Default Original US Jump Wings?

    Hi guys

This one is up for sale. I like one for a bit of US in my collection. It is cheap. A bit of condsition problems. But that is fine with me. I just want one for display with my garrison cap and helmet. Further I will keep collecting german. But the question. Is it original WW2?

    Thanks!

    Looks to be 60's - 70's issue.

Am I correct in saying that the WWII era jump wings did not use the pin backs?

Mine has a pin and a catch... And it is solid, not hollow so i guess this one is post war!

Any metal U.S. insignia with an alpha-numeric code
is post WWII to the present. Clutches were widely
used after 1943, but ran together with pin-backs.
Look for a 'Sterling' marked pin-back type.

I think Gary hit it being 60's-70's era.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
