Para Jump Jacket, real deal?

Article about: I am posting this for a friend, he is wondering if this is a U.S. or Brit jump jacket, and if it is real? The inside tag has since been faded beyond reading. Theses are the only pics i have,

    Canadian Airborne troops training in the US wore American jump jackets (along with the trousers, Corcoran boots and M1 helmets). Did they have shoulder wings? There are some excellent pictures of CanPara troops training on a Canadian site but I'll be damned if I can find it!
