What is this unusual smock on eBay?

I’m not bidding so I have no horse in this race, however, I was wondering what it is.
The construction looks WW2 British or US, however, the size label looks more European. I’m also intrigued by the small pocket at the front. Can anybody tell me what it is?

Well it is a European sizing system, i've seen that type of label with the distinctive red font before. From memory i think it was on some Italian clothing but can't be sure!...

These little red-on-white size labels are also found in post-war DRK uniform items. These, for example, are in a tunic and a weather jacket:



But these are not actually specific to any service or manufacturer. This is a common, generic type of commercially available size label.
