please do not take it as an offense is just my opinion.

in a conventional war vs a modern army, without air superiority these AC-130 and A-10 would be doomed to certain destruction.
in terms of their effectiveness, use the hammer to kill flies, a fly will fall, but more continue flying.

Thanks for that Phil.
My dad was career USAF. He was stationed at NKP Thailand 1971-73.
He was an radar and electronics guy and normally on the ground hjowever he did do a couple
night time runs in a AC-130 Spooky. He showed me pictures of the mini guns firing tracers at night.
Absolutely incredible amount of fire. I will see if I can find some copies to post.
