Article about: I was sent this today and I hadn't seen it before. Apologies if it HAS been well covered but I couldn't find a thread on it. B-17 "All American" (414th Squadron, 97BG) Pilot- Ken B

    Indeed.

    Man, something took a decent sized bite out of both the vertical and horisontal stabilizer on that crate!

    I've just read the writing on the photo, it says "prop of other..." it was a collision!...

    Ahh, that makes sense. We were not far off then. Fit the 'prop bite' along the spine as well.
    Didnt even really notice the faint writing until you drew my attention to it just now. Too much focus on the damage itself, I guess.
