    I heard this on the radio this morning, its a terrible tragedy and I feel very sorry for the people who have lost their lives and their families. There's nothing much you can say, it's just horrible.

    As expected, but surprisingly quick out the blocks, the future of U.K. airshows seem to have changed forever in what's becoming a rather typically British knee jerk reaction to any tragic accident or cases of assumed avoidable multiple deaths that seem to have started back with the blanket firearms bans implemented after the Hungerford massacre and then Dunblane.

    This will kill off many of the vintage jet aircraft groups and owners trying desperately hard to maintain them in flying condition as show bookings and attendances are bound to fall off due to this ruling making it not worth their while.

    A sad day, but not unexpected in my opinion.
