This is bad

Just so sad when those that go to enjoy are caught up in a freak aviation accident. We recently lost one of my own. When he was escorting a work crew out to our flightline. A civilian/ private contractor modified A4 was taking off and had a flame out. Pilot ejected but the A/C smashed into the vehicle he was sitting in. I try to teach my Marines to keep their head on a swivel when out there because it does happen. It might not be all the time . BUT IT IS THAT ONE TIME WHEN YOU ARE COMPLACENT that you could be that Person in that position. 30+ years of doing this and I have seen it unfortunately happened 4 times in my career.
