"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Hi Nick
I watched it a few months ago, Based on actual events. When the commander of the crew of a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber is killed in action over a raid over Sicily in 1943, his replacement, a young naive pilot, struggles to be accepted by the plane's already tight-knit Irish American crew, well worth the watch mate.

Kevin
Alot of mixed reviews online, mostly from the authenticity brigade. Apparantly no original aircraft were used in the movie, everything is CGI.
Still i'll look for it online and watch it on my 'big screen', (living room wall through my projector) one night when the missus is out!
It is currently on youtube in full in the link below. The film in my opinion was hampered by its B grade acting, set design and its necessity to be shot completely on a green screen. The film although having a larger budget than the other independent films such as Brest Fortress and 9 Рота failed in its historical accuracy in relations to the "true story". I would agree with most reviews of 4-5 out of 10. Worth a watch if you are board.

Well I think it's a badly acted piece of shit. I really didn't like it...
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
I though it was ok, worth a one time watch.
sounds interesting.. think its worth a watch for free. bonus
