    Default German propeller? What plane?

    Hi guys,
I bought this heavy damaged propeller...the seller told me it cames from a JUMO engine
    The measures are:

    - High: 166 cms

    - WIDE: circa 40 cms in the middle

BTW the propeller (or what it's remain) it's in wood with a metal base, there are some code on it paint or repainted in red, probably the serial number
    Do you have some idea??
What kind of airplane can be?
I found out it is very similar to a Ju-88 or JU 87 o maybe FW 190 D prop but some has metal blades, other wood blades...I don't know
    Thanks for any help

Looks like it may be from a Fw190D9 or a Ta 152!...

I think taht 40 cms wide in the middle of the propeller was for high altitude fighters, but which?
The number painted in red is: 9-30308 (looks like)

Try checking the numbers stamped on the metal hub side and base, they should tell you. This is what you need to look for, then use Google to search the code number.

    Hi Big Ned,

    Thank for your help.

    Another question:

In AERODETAIL JU 87, page 6 says that the JU 87 was fitted by 3 blades VS111

    My question is:

    - TYPE BLADE NUMBER: VS 11

    - SUBTYPE NUMBER: 1, this number says the plane?

    Total number VS 111?

The ID NUMBER of the blades are: 9 41279

    Any idea more?

Hang on a minute here. Are you saying the above details are on YOUR prop blade, or from a random post on a modelling forum that's discussing JU 87 propeller blades??? I'm thinking differently from what you've surmised.

The number code on on the face of your blade appears to be 9-30308.10, which is the same as the one in the link I supplied. That blade is a VS10 from a Focke-Wulf Fw 190 type D9 to D13 series. I hope this helps.

    Regards, Ned.

Look at post 3, "Also in the same location was a ME109g2 nose cone"
Luftwaffe Propeller Query - Wooden Propeller Forum
Try researching 109G models, but take note of post 2, the same prop may have been used on more than one type of aircraft!..
