    I always chuckle over the frankfurt Airport, transmission.

    Apparently Air traffic control at Frankfurt used to have a reputation for being a bit 'short' with pilots. One incident relates to a British airliner landing at Frankfurt and requesting instructions as to where he should taxi to. The Air traffic controller said in a rather sarcastic tone of voice ' have you not been to Frankfurt before' to which the British pilot replied ' Yes twice in 1944, but I didn't stop'.
